Integrating data with Oracle Primavera Cloud

You can import project data to Primavera Cloud via P6 XML or XER files, Microsoft Project MSP XML files, or Excel files (XLXS).

Before importing data to Primavera Cloud, we recommend that you do the following:

• Set up your workspace hierarchy in Primavera Cloud, so data can be placed at the appropriate workspace level. Review this article for more information.
• Test your import configuration in your Non Production workspace first. That way, you can ensure you're happy with the configuration before importing data to your live production environment.

Primavera Cloud

Within Primavera Cloud, you can transfer project data between P6 or Microsoft Project by creating an 
integration connection. When establishing the connection, you’ll use business flows to synchronize data from your current application to Primavera Cloud.

There are two integration methods that you can use:

• Direct integration: This integration is configured within Primavera Cloud. It requires minimal setup and provides default business flows to support the most common data-migration requirements.
• Primavera Gateway integration: Use this method if your organization requires additional customization. With Primavera Gateway, you can create new business flows or synchronize data between P6 and Primavera Cloud.

Keep in mind that it may take up to 14 days to get an integration up and running, as it can involve adding ports and URLs to an allowlist.

Oracle Integration 

Using Oracle Integration, you can connect Primavera Cloud with other Oracle products, like P6 or Unifier, or third-party applications. 

Within Oracle Integration, you'll connect to the applications you want to integrate using prebuilt application or technology adapters. Oracle Integration includes adapters for various Oracle products, such as the Primavera Cloud Adapter. Once you connect to desired applications, you'll create integrations and map desired data between them.
