In this issue, we'll highlight features released in Oracle Primavera Cloud from March 2025 - June 2025.

WBS improvement

When deleting a work breakdown structure (WBS) element, you can now:

  • Reassign tasks or activities to another WBS
  • Delete activities and reassign tasks to the parent WBS
  • Delete all tasks and activities

Risk Register

The Risk Register has gotten more useful! You can:

  • Quickly add columns without going into Settings
  • Sort and align columns as desired
  • Use conditional formatting to highlight risks by type, status, and more
  • See schedule, costs, and probability impacts across all risks in the main window

Gantt curtains

  • You can now use Gantt curtains on the Activities page
  • This is helpful to highlight time periods that may impact the project schedule, such as for delays, outages, weather, and more

Task List page

  • We made it easier to manage tasks on the Task List page
  • Use the Find and Replace option to quickly find tasks and replace them as needed

Noteworthy mentions

  • Reminder! If you're using the Oracle Primavera Cloud app, you must be on iOS version 17 or higher or Android version 13 or higher. The app will not work if you're not using the minimum operating system requirements.
  • We expanded the ability to import or export notebook topics at the WBS and project level, allowing you to share project information with P6 and other applications.
  • When assigning permission sets, you can now see the privileges included in each one to help ensure you're selecting the right security for users and groups.
  • On the Budget Planning page, you now have the ability to create and manage filters and save them as part of the view.
  • To provide more flexibility, you can now choose to exclude units of measure, calendars, codes, and/or configured fields when importing XML or XER files.
  • The Schedule Health Score tool will now indicate activities that are progressing out of sequence, so you can easily identify work that isn't being completed in the right order.
  • On the Projects page, you have the option of downloading an import template with current project data.
