Primavera Cloud Roundup - November 2023

In this issue, we'll highlight features released in Oracle Primavera Cloud from August 2023 - October 2023.

Swimlanes

  • On the Work Plan page, we've given you the ability to plan tasks using swimlanes.
  • Swimlanes provide better visibility into the workload of the project team. They also allow for easier adjustments during make-ready and weekly work planning.
  • You can view swimlanes at the worksite on your iOS device with the Primavera Cloud mobile app. You can also use the Report view to easily print your work plan.

WBS update

  • Now, you can manage your work breakdown structure (WBS) right on the Activities page. This allows you to work with your WBS and activities without switching between pages.
  • Scenarios, baselines, and the current schedule can each have their own WBS.

Schedule merge

  • On the Schedule Comparison page, you can merge activities from a baseline or scenario with the current schedule.
  • Use Merge Mode to choose which activities to update in the current schedule.

Global Admin

  • We made a couple of updates to Global Admin to make administrative tasks easier!
  • On the Users page, there are now columns for each license type so you can easily view, assign, and remove licenses for users.
  • Additionally, you can assign Application Administrators to users in any company.

Noteworthy mentions

  • If you're an Aconex user, get additional information about your task constraints by linking Aconex packages to them.
  • Mean Impact charts now show how risk and activities contribute to project delays and costs.
  • You can duplicate a budget or resource plan to create a new budget or resource scenario with the same projects.
  • Import a scenario or the current schedule using P6 XML import.
