Oracle Construction Intelligence Cloud (CIC) Newmetrix Safety Risk Forecast
The Safety Risk Forecast is a custom predictive model in CIC Newmetrix that allows you to reduce risk by proactively identifying high-risk projects through an incident-warning system. This information enables your organization to take actions to prevent incidents and losses before they occur.
The predictive model includes safety dashboards and risk assessment reports based on your organization's data. Oracle will work with you to collect the data, create your model, deploy it, and then implement it across your organization. Read more about the process below.
Step 1: Sign Ordering Document
Your organization will be required to sign the Safety Risk Forecast ordering document in order for Oracle to start working on your predictive model. Once the document is received, an Oracle representative will reach out to begin step 2.
Timeline: 1 week
Step 2: Gather Data
Your predictive model will be built from your organization's data, which includes information from projects, safety observations, incidents, and more. Oracle representatives will meet with you weekly to help identify and format required datasets. They'll also provide you with a document that covers all of the required data.
Timeline: On average, this process can take up to 8 weeks (depending on the complexity of gathering data).
Step 3: Predictive Data Assessment
Once you submit your data, Oracle will determine if it can be used to build a predictive model. We'll share the results with you via a Predictive Data Assessment, which details the viability of each dataset you provided.
Timeline: 1-2 weeks
Step 4: Model Creation
Oracle will get to work on building a predictive or benchmark model, depending on the results of the Predictive Data Assessment. Both models include safety dashboards; however, the benchmark model isn't predictive. The benchmark model will help you get the data required to have a predictive model in the future. Your Oracle representative will schedule time to present your model once it's ready.
Timeline: 1-2 weeks
Step 5: Model Deployment
Oracle will work with you to deploy your model. Your organization will create scripts to send data weekly to CIC Newmetrix. Then, Oracle will build, test, and launch the model in CIC Newmetrix.
Timeline: 1-2 weeks
Step 6: Model Implementation
The work doesn't end once your model is deployed in CIC Newmetrix. Oracle will work with you to implement it across your organization. This includes having needed conversations with users and providing training. After that, we'll check in at 30 days and 90 days post implementation, respectively, to make sure everything is running smoothly.
Timeline: 12 weeks
