Seema Verma
Executive VP and GM, Oracle Health and Life Sciences
Seema Verma is Executive Vice President and General Manager of Oracle Health and Life Sciences, overseeing Oracle's EHR (formerly Cerner), clinical trials, and health insurance portfolio. She also serves on the Boards of Eskenazi Health Foundation and the USC Price School Board of Councilors. Previously, she was a Senior Advisor to private equity firms TPG and Cressey & Co., serving on the Cressey Distinguished Executive Committee and the Boards of Lumeris, Monogram, Wellsky, ClaimsXten, and ShiftKey. She has advised numerous early-stage and public healthcare companies, including national payers and tech firms, focusing on strategy, operations, and value creation. From 2017–2021, Seema served as Administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), confirmed on a bipartisan basis. She led a $1.4 trillion budget and coverage for 145 million beneficiaries, overseeing Medicare, Medicaid, ACA Exchanges, CMMI, and federal quality/safety standards. Under her leadership, CMS advanced value-based care, interoperability, price transparency, and drug pricing reform. Her “Patients over Paperwork” initiative reduced regulatory burden, and her pro-market policies drove Medicare Part D and Advantage premium reductions, introduced $35 insulin for seniors, and promoted site-neutral payments. During COVID-19, she helped lead the White House Task Force, expanding telehealth, Hospital at Home, and no-cost vaccines. Earlier in her career, Seema founded and sold a national healthcare consulting firm and served as VP of Policy and Planning for a public hospital and health department. She was named Modern Healthcare’s #1 Most Influential Person in Healthcare (2019) and one of its Top 25 Women Leaders. Her work has been published in The Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Health Affairs, STAT, CNN, and others. She holds degrees from the University of Maryland and Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health.
Mike Sicilia
CEO, Oracle
Chief Executive Officer Mike Sicilia is focused on helping customers across every industry accelerate growth and drive business success with AI-powered applications and infrastructure.
Since joining Oracle from Primavera Systems in 2008, Mike has held several leadership positions and was pivotal in delivering industry-specific cloud and embedded AI solutions that empower organizations to adapt and innovate. He also managed some of Oracle’s most strategic acquisitions, delivering critical new offerings to customers. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Saint Joseph's University.
Dr. Tomislav Mihaljevic
CEO and President, Morton L. Mandel CEO Chair, Cleveland Clinic
Tom Mihaljevic, MD, directs Cleveland Clinic. He has led the organization and its 83,000 caregivers since January 2018. Under his guidance, Cleveland Clinic has grown substantially, with 15.9 million patient encounters worldwide annually and a yearly operating revenue of more than $18 billion.
The globally integrated healthcare system has 23 hospitals and 300 outpatient locations. Facilities are located in Ohio; Florida; Las Vegas, Nevada; Toronto, Canada; Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; and London, United Kingdom.
Dr. Mihaljevic’s vision is to make Cleveland Clinic the best place for care anywhere and the best place to work in healthcare. He is expanding the organization’s worldwide reach to improve as many lives as possible.
In 2025 Dr. Mihaljevic was elected to the National Academy of Medicine, one of the most prestigious honors in healthcare, for his work at Cleveland Clinic to improve healthcare quality and public health.
From 2015 to 2017 Dr. Mihaljevic served as CEO of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, the first U.S. multi-specialty hospital to be replicated outside of North America. He joined Cleveland Clinic in 2004 as a surgeon in the Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery. He completed medical school at the University of Zagreb in Croatia and trained in general surgery and cardiovascular surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital of Harvard Medical School.
A native of Croatia and a U.S. citizen, Dr. Mihaljevic speaks English, German and Croatian.
