The Landing Zone Framework was created to simplify the OCI onboarding experience and reduce OCI day-one and day-two efforts. It provides best practices covering the complete spectrum of OCI landing zones, from the standards to the tailored approaches, including landing zone extensions for specific workloads.

3rd party applications are software programs not developed in-house by your company but purchased from an external vendor. These applications can support both business and technical processes. ISV (Independent Software Vendor) applications are similar, but they are specifically developed using Oracle technology. While each project varies, there are clear advantages for customers in migrating their third-party or ISV applications to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

You can migrate your on-premises Oracle Database to an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Database service database using a number of different methods that use several different tools. The method that applies to a given migration scenario depends on several factors, including the version, character set, and platform endian format of the source and target databases.

Organizations use on-premises deployments of E-Business Suite (EBS) for a wide range of functionalities, including Financials, Order Management, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Logistics. These implementations are often customized to seamlessly integrate with other applications to meet business requirements. So it’s counterproductive to re-architect software from scratch. OCI has the flexibility to support everything Organizations are currently doing with EBS.

Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) is a cloud-native service delivered on next-generation Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). OAC brings the collaboration and visualization advantages of an Oracle-native cloud service without the need for an on-premises data center. OAC provides the capabilities required to address the entire analytics process including data ingestion and modeling, data preparation and enrichment, and visualization and collaboration, without compromising security and governance. Embedded machine learning and natural language processing technologies help increase productivity and build an analytics-driven culture in organizations.

Oracle Cloud VMware Solution is based on VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and provides a fully supported, customizable cloud environment for VMware deployments and migrations. The solution delivers a full-stack software-defined data center (SDDC), including VMware’s vCenter, ESXi, NSX, and vSAN. Specific use cases targeted by Oracle Cloud VMware Solution include data center and application migration, hybrid extension, on-demand capacity, and disaster recovery.

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Data Science is a fully-managed platform for teams of data scientists to build, train, deploy, and manage machine learning models using Python and open source tools. Use a JupyterLab-based environment to experiment and develop models. Scale up model training with NVIDIA GPUs and distributed training. Take models into production and keep them healthy with MLOps capabilities, such as automated pipelines, model deployments, and model monitoring.

Database consolidation involves placing multiple databases onto a single set of computing infrastructure. The primary purpose of database consolidation is to reduce the cost of database infrastructure by taking advantage of more powerful servers that have come onto the market that include dozens of processor cores in a single server. Oracle offers multiple ways and tools to migrate Oracle database workloads from on-premises to OCI.

OCI DevOps works with your existing workflows and tools, such as GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, and more, including private and cloud-based resources. As an OCI native service, identity, security, logging, and more are consistent across Oracle Cloud’s infrastructure, along with preconfigured secure deploys to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Compute services.
