  • Q: What are the current product names for Taleo Enterprise Edition and Taleo Business Edition?

    A: Oracle Taleo Enterprise Edition and Oracle Taleo Business Edition are also referred to as Oracle Talent Acquisition Cloud and Oracle Talent Acquisition for Midsize Cloud, respectively. Both are part of Oracle Talent Management Cloud, offered under Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) Cloud.

  • Q: Which Oracle Talent Acquisition Cloud product should our company integrate with?

    A: This will depend on what your customer(s) is using. It will either be with Oracle Talent Acquisition Cloud (OTAC) or Oracle Talent Acquisition for Midsize Cloud (OTAMC).

  • Q: If we integrate with TEE, will TBE be included as well?

    A: No. TEE and TBE are two different platforms and require different integration methodologies. Your customers or prospects will have one or the other (rarely both). If you have an TEE integration you can only connect to TEE customers, and same for TBE.

  • Q: Can our company cover multiple solution categories (e.g. Background Check and Assessments) with one integration?

    A: No. The combination of one solution category and one platform (i.e. TEE or TBE) is considered one integration (e.g. Assessments for TEE).

  • Q: If my company is a current partner with one or more repeatable integrations, either for OATC or TBE, are we still required to perform revalidation every 3 years?

    A: No, currently the time bound revalidation requirement has been removed.

  • Q: How can we build a customer-specific integration?

    A: For TEE, customer-specific and customer-implemented/maintained integrations may be addressed with the Taleo Connect Client (TCC) platform. The customer should request information about this from their Oracle Customer Success Manager.

    For TBE the partner can access the Open API and integration framework to construct a customer specific integration.

  • Q: Why do we have to accept the terms and conditions of the Oracle Cloud Interoperability Addendum?

    A: This is a standard addendum to the Oracle Partner Network Agreement and it contemplates the integration development and marketing activities between your company and Oracle as it relates to Oracle Cloud Services (e.g. OATC and TBE).

  • Q: How can I engage more in sales and go-to-market activities with Oracle?

    A: Oracle does not provide dedicated, programmatic sales and go-to-market support beyond the opportunities below:

    • Promote your integrated offerings on Oracle Cloud Marketplace. Oracle Cloud Marketplace offers a platform for software vendors to showcase their solutions that interoperate with and extend Oracle Cloud Applications.
    • Issue a press release announcing the availability of your offering(s) on Oracle Cloud Marketplace.
    • Display the Oracle Cloud Marketplace badge/logo on your website and marketing materials.
    • Check the Go-to-Market Kit for SaaS on how to take advantage of other OPN initiatives to help you promote your solution integrated with Oracle Cloud Applications
    • Oracle makes available a set of Oracle PartnerNetwork Benefits.

  • Q: How can I promote my integration directly to Oracle Customers?

    A: One way is to leverage the Oracle Human Capital Management User Group (or OHUG). This is not an Oracle-run community, but has many Oracle HCM customers as members Your company may also want to consider participation in conferences such as Collaborate, HR Tech, Oracle HCM World and Oracle CloudWorld.

  • Q: What is the difference between Oracle Validated Integration and Oracle Cloud Marketplace?

    A: The Oracle Validated Integration Expertise no longer covers Oracle Taleo Enterprise Edition Service integrations or integrations with Oracle Cloud Applications. Oracle Validated Integration is now designated solely for partner solutions integrated with Oracle *on-premises* Applications, like Oracle PeopleSoft or Oracle E-Business Suite. Partner’s solutions integrated with Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC), Oracle Talent Acquisition Cloud (OTAC), or Oracle Talent Acquisition for Midsize Cloud (OTAMC) are now available through the Oracle Cloud Marketplace, with all other integrations with Oracle *Cloud* Applications, creating a single source for cloud solutions.

  • Q: How can our company obtain access to a development environment to build a repeatable integration?

    The process to access development environments is provided in the “Process and Requirements” section and depends upon the specific Oracle application
