Oracle Cloud Infrastructure service gateway allows access to Oracle services within the region to protect your data from the internet. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure service gateway enables consumer-to-service private connections (C2S).
The following table lists the Oracle Cloud services that can be accessed from the private subnets in your VCN via a service gateway. Please note that your applications may require access to public endpoints or services not supported by the service gateway (for example, for updates or patches). Be sure that you have a NAT gateway or other access to the internet if necessary.
Please refer to the Data Regions for Platform and Infrastructure Services page to ensure each service is available in the desired region.
1 This service may also initiate connections to the customer VCN. These service-initiated connections are referred to as service-to-consumer private connections (S2C). However, service gateway does not support S2C connections.
For all SaaS services, please work with your Oracle representative to inquire about private access.
