Amdocs, a leading provider of software and services for telecommunications, helps two major telcos in Brazil and Ecuador navigate complex industry challenges. As demand for better connectivity and digital services grows, companies must invest heavily in infrastructure to maintain pace while at the same time keeping up with new expectations for flexibility and agility. Amdocs collaborated with Oracle Consulting to transition these telcos from on-premises data centers to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), which allowed for seamless data migration. Amdocs also provided a comprehensive prepaid service platform in the cloud, which covered both billing and service management systems. Oracle Consulting moved the data from physical servers to the cloud, smoothly migrating both test and live virtual machines. As a result, Amdocs’ customers were able to launch new brands faster and scale operations easily. Beyond modernizing hardware, OCI also increased efficiency in preproduction and development environments. For the two leading telcos in Brazil and Ecuador, migrating to OCI was a significant move toward innovation and accelerated processes. This shift helped the companies concentrate on delivering top-tier services and product offerings rather than managing infrastructure.
