By migrating our core business databases to Oracle Cloud, we experienced better performance using the same trusted Exadata technology. Now we also enjoy the flexibility of the cloud by being able to scale up simultaneously with our business growth.

Flavio MauriCIO, Cerved Group

Cerved provides companies and financial institutions with credit assessment, management, and recovery services based on vast amounts of data and advanced algorithms. The company’s rapid growth created performance and capacity issues with IT infrastructure within the company’s own data center, which slowed time to market for new innovations. As a previous Oracle Exadata on-premises customer, Cerved had confidence in the performance and high availability of Oracle database technology. The company consolidated 44 databases to just 6 and migrated to a dedicated Oracle Exadata Database Service and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Cerved was able to automate backup, which freed staff for more productive architecture tasks and faster development with new data sets. Also, Oracle FastConnect allowed multilcoud with AWS, where Cerved’s custom applications are hosted, and delivered low latency of 2 milliseconds. This brought more intelligent risk solutions to customers.
