City of Lubbock Utilities and Lubbock Power & Light manage the city’s water and waste while serving more than 100,000 electricity meters. Manual processes made routine account administration tasks time-consuming, and infrequent meter reads limited customers’ ability to manage their usage effectively. The city chose Oracle Utilities Customer Cloud Service and Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management to digitalize customer record management and boost meter data visibility. The integration automatically updates account records, and meter reads as frequently as every 15 minutes offer insights to help customers save money on their bills.
