Exhibition Place is Canada’s premier destination for conventions, exhibitions, events, and entertainment, hosting over 2,000 events and welcoming more than 5.5 million visitors annually. Exhibition Place faced growing challenges with their custom-built line-of-business applications. Built on on-premises Access databases, the applications were difficult to support and prone to performance reliability issues. Using Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing and the free, low-code Oracle APEX platform, the entire system was redeveloped and deployed. Exhibition Place now has a modern, reliable, and scalable platform that meets the operational demands of a landmark venue—delivering better performance, easier support, and a future-ready foundation for growth.
