GasNet operates the Czech Republic’s largest natural gas distribution network, delivering energy to more than 2.3 million customers—about 80% of the country. As the scale and complexity of its operations continued to grow, GasNet recognized the need for a more advanced digital tool to support field service management. GasNet aimed to implement a system designed for real-time operations and efficient cross-regional coordination. Partnering with Oracle Consulting, GasNet deployed Oracle Field Service to support its service team. The platform eliminated information silos, allowing dispatchers to automatically schedule routine work and instantly deploy the nearest field worker to a critical event. As a result, GasNet has reduced travel time, increased the number of jobs completed per day, and improved its ability to keep its network safe and reliable.
