HENO builds new all-in-one physical therapy SaaS solution with Oracle Cloud

Founded by a physical therapist and software engineer married couple, HENO runs two physical therapy clinics in Central Florida. After trying several software systems to manage their practices, HENO’s owners decided to develop their own electronic medical record for PT services, one that could better manage billing, payments, scheduling, charting, and other patient management processes. Using Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing, a fully automated cloud database, with Oracle APEX, a low code development framework, HENO created a cloud native, software-as-a-service EMR that’s now used by more than 300 clinics nationwide. The move from its existing databases took a few months of planning and 12 hours of downtime for migration. With a more efficient and effective EMR, PT clinicians spend more time caring for patients. The database’s built-in encryption helps clinics to comply with HIPAA regulations. The PT company is now also a SAAS provider.
