“Moving our Oracle E-Business Suite landscape to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure has significantly improved ERP platform reliability and agility. The modernization has reduced operational overhead, strengthened resilience, and created a solid foundation for continuous and future innovation. The migration program was executed seamlessly, with minimal downtime and clear business outcomes.”
Posten Bring is Norway’s national postal and logistics provider, handling millions of parcels and deliveries every year across one of Europe’s most geographically demanding regions, where reliability and speed are critical to customer trust. The company faced growing constraints from running Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle SOA on aging on-premises infrastructure, which limited system performance, hampered scalability during peak delivery periods, and increased the cost and effort of maintaining critical enterprise systems. To address these challenges, Posten Bring moved its Oracle E-Business Suite and supporting applications from on-premises data centers to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), selecting OCI for its proven performance and support for mission-critical operations.
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) partnered closely with Posten Bring and Oracle Norway to plan and execute the migration within six months, coordinating across application, infrastructure, security, and operations teams. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) designed and delivered a secure OCI architecture using Oracle Exadata Database Service and OCI virtual machines. As a result, Posten Bring now operates its core enterprise systems on a more resilient, scalable, and cost-efficient platform that better supports its Nordic logistics operations. “By migrating Oracle E-Business Suite and the SOA integration platform to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Posten Bring has achieved greater agility and reliability to support its mission-critical logistics services while significantly reducing the risks associated with legacy platforms,” says Saroj Dash, OCI head, Oracle Practice at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS).
