Business problem: Finance processes need speed, control, and consistency
PwC needed finance processes that could support work across several territories while improving reporting, financial controls, and operational planning. For professional services organizations, fast and accurate processes help teams allocate resources and keep projects on time and on budget.
Solution and results: Oracle Cloud ERP supports AI-enabled finance
PwC implemented Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) across several territories within its global network of firms. The deployments currently support approximately 34,000 employees and have contributed to improved finance operations, controls, reporting, and AI-enabled finance capabilities.
PwC firms that adopted Oracle Cloud ERP can use embedded predictive, generative, and agentic AI capabilities to help increase productivity, improve financial controls, align financial and operational planning, and simplify global reporting. PwC is also using the document IO agent in Oracle Cloud ERP to automate document handling across financial processes, helping accelerate financial insights and decision-making.
Building on this experience, PwC and Oracle are collaborating to develop new tools, accelerators, and methodologies for clients that want to update finance processes with cloud ERP and AI.
