SFG speeds funding support for government promotions with Oracle Cloud and APEX

Steirische Wirtschaftsförderungsgesellschaft mbH (SFG) manages financial assistance applications for more than 60,000 companies applying for government funding across the EU and Austria’s federal and state promotional programs. The programs range from tourism, the environment, to new business creation. The organization needed to speed up its funding review and approval process without increasing the size of the team. Oracle APEX, a low code development framework with Oracle Database, offered the best way to achieve that goal, with an intuitive interface for developers and regular updates to help ensure compliance with regulations.
The new APEX application allowed SFG to replace all paper processes with electronic workflows to streamline the funding application processes. Along with reducing app development time by two-thirds compared to its previous product, SFG saw significantly improved data integrity and increased customer satisfaction.
