Saline Township, Michigan Data Center

The project is expected to create 2,500–3,000 union construction jobs, 450 well-paying, permanent jobs, plus 1,500 support roles countywide. Local suppliers, vendors, contractors and residents will be prioritized.

• Millions of dollars will support community projects, services, schools, and new infrastructure supporting public safety.
• Stormwater management features are designed to significantly reduce runoff into the Saline River.

The Saline Township AI data center uses a one-time fill, closed-loop, non-evaporative liquid cooling system that significantly reduces water consumption.

The project will be served by existing high-voltage power lines, which will have enough capacity to run the AI data center. Oracle will pay for the required energy infrastructure upgrades, keeping local residents’ electric bills in check. Utility customers will benefit from Oracle contributing its share to the fixed costs of maintaining and improving the grid – projected to be approximately $300 million annually.

The AI data center uses only 250 of 575 acres in Saline Township. Remaining acres will be preserved for open space, farmland, wetlands, and natural woods.
