Juan Loaiza

Juan Loaiza is executive vice president of database server technologies and database systems technology at Oracle, developing the mission-critical capabilities of Oracle Database, Database Cloud, and Oracle Exadata. Juan joined the Oracle Database development organization in 1988 and has contributed to every Oracle Database release since Version 6. Juan holds BS and MS degrees in computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Maria Colgan
Vice President, Product Management for AI Engines and Mission-Critical Data, Oracle
Maria Colgan is a vice president of product management for AI and mission-critical data on the Oracle Database team, which she has been a part of since 1996. She is what some people would call a database nerd and has spent her entire career deeply involved with enhancing the performance of databases and applications. Her team is responsible for the product management of the database AI engines, Advanced Compression, Database In-Memory, and mission-critical data. Her personal mission is to help companies attain the flexibility and resilience they need (especially in today's ever-changing world) by assisting them in making better use of this incredible technology.
Beda Hammerschmidt
Vice President, Oracle Database
Beda Hammerschmidt leads a team of developers at Oracle focused on semistructured data, including JSON and full-text search in the Oracle Database. He is a co-author of the SQL/JSON standard and a committer to the JSON Schema database vocabulary.
Ashish Ray
Vice President, Product Management, Oracle
Ashish Ray is a vice president of Product Management within Oracle’s core database development organization. His team is responsible for the Exadata portfolio of products, Database Cloud Services across public, hybrid, and multi cloud, Recovery Appliance, Oracle Database Appliance, and Oracle Database’s Maximum Availability Architecture. Ashish has more than 25 years of experience in technology design, development, and strategy, focusing on the reliability, availability, and scalability issues of enterprise computing.
