Instructions for subscribing to email notifications of Critical Patch Updates, Critical Security Patch Updates and Security Alerts

To be notified of the release of Critical Patch Updates, Critical Security Patch Updates and Security Alerts, please follow the instructions below.

If you are an Oracle employee, please see MOS note KB373452.

If you are not an Oracle employee, please follows the steps below:

• Note: An Oracle Account is required to subscribe to email notifications of Critical Patch Updates, Critical Security Patch Updates and Security Alerts.
• The Oracle Account and the Cloud Account are not the same in this case. To subscribe, please make sure to log into the Oracle Account only

How to Create an Oracle Account:

1. To create an Oracle Account, click on the person icon in the upper right-hand corner of this page.
2. A popup will appear - in the Oracle Account section, choose Create an Account.
3. Provide the required information and complete the Oracle Account creation by clicking Create Account.

How to Subscribe/Unsubscribe to email notifications of Critical Patch Updates, Critical Security Patch Updates and Security Alerts:

1. Login to your Oracle Account, click on the person icon in the upper right-hand corner.
2. Under the Oracle Account heading, choose Sign-In.
3. Once you have signed in, click on the person icon in the upper right-hand corner.
4. Under the Oracle Account heading, click on your Account Name.
5. Click Subscriptions from the left pane.
6. Look for Oracle security notifications in the Oracle Subscriptions section. 
7. To subscribe, click on the check box to enable notifications for Oracle security notifications/Security Alerts.
8. To unsubscribe, uncheck the Security Alerts checkbox.
9. Click Save.
