Oracle Hyperion Tax Governance empowers tax departments to improve their entire data & task management process by automating interactions with source financial systems (e.g. G/L, sub-ledgers, tax reporting, tax compliance, etc).
Tax Governance is comprised of two modules - Tax Operations and Tax Supplemental Schedules. Tax Operations centralizes management of all process-based activities – such as the tax provision, tax compliance, controversy management, transfer pricing and special projects. This replaces traditional, manually maintained checklists with dynamic workflow dashboards that give users the ability to immediately view and act on information. Extending far beyond tracking signoff of manual tasks, Tax Operations leverages its extensive Oracle Hyperion integrations to provide customers with unparalleled levels of automation and process orchestration. Tax Supplemental Schedules provides the tax function with a robust capability for collecting complex datasets such as surveys and large data tables. This replaces Microsoft Excel as the primary tool for collecting survey data such as required for supporting tax credits (e.g. R&D), transfer pricing, etc. It’s also replaces Excel and other one-off solutions to collect detailed ledger and sub-ledger data such as analysis of accruals and reserves. Oracle Hyperion Tax Governance allows the tax function to be more closely integrated and coordinated with the broader financial system landscape.
