MySQL 5.7.8 Release Candidate Is Available

The MySQL development team at Oracle is happy to announce that MySQL 5.7.8, the second 5.7 Release Candidate (RC2), is now available for download. More than 500 bugs (additional to those fixed in MySQL 5.7.7 and those merged from MySQL 5.6) have been fixed in MySQL 5.7.8. This latest release also adds support for JSON.
