Other Services

OS images

OCI supports a number of prebuilt, Oracle-provided images and user-created, custom images. In addition, the OCI OS Management service allows you to manage updates and patches for the operating system environments on your instances.

  • Oracle-provided images include multiple versions of CentOS, Oracle Linux, Oracle Autonomous Linux, Ubuntu, and Windows Server. Users can also create and manage custom images.

VMware-based compute

Oracle Cloud VMware Solution allows you to create and manage VMware-enabled software-defined data centers (SDDCs) in OCI.

3–64 ESXi hosts

The minimum configuration includes:

  • 156 cores
  • 2304 GB of physical memory
  • 153 TB of NVMe-based storage

Serverless

Oracle Cloud Functions is a serverless platform that lets developers create, run, and scale applications without managing any infrastructure.

  • Up to 20 applications and 500 functions per OCI Region*
  • Up to 60 GB of total memory for concurrent function executing*
  • Up to 6 MB of request payload and response payload

  • * customers can request limit increases for greater needs
