Oracle’s Redwood Shores headquarters was recognized by the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International as the Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) for 2016 in the Corporate Facilities category.

The TOBY award is widely considered the most prestigious and coveted award in the commercial real estate industry. It recognizes buildings that excel in 52 measures, grouped into six categories: building operations and management, security and risk management, training and education, energy, environmental sustainability, and tenant relations/community involvement. Oracle was recognized as a winner first at the local chapter level, then at the regional level, and finally at the international level.

BOMA International was founded in 1907 and has more than 17,000 members in 92 local associations throughout the United States and 13 international affiliates in Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Finland, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Mexico, the Philippines, Russia, and South Africa. BOMA's members collectively own or manage more than 10.5 billion square feet of office space, representing more than 80 percent of the prime office space in North America.
