Senior Vice President, User Experience Design
Jenny Lam is senior vice president of user experience design at Oracle, where she is responsible for reshaping the corporate brand and product design. Lam is rethinking how Oracle customers interact with technology and consume information in order to create a brand and software experience that is not just desirable, but truly differentiated and special.
Previously, Lam served as design director at Amazon in the Devices group, designing digital and voice experiences on FireTV, Fire Tablets, and Echo products. Prior to that, she was cofounder of Jackson Fish Market, a design and digital transformation agency that she built with longtime colleague Hillel Cooperman. Before Jackson Fish Market, Lam worked at Microsoft from 2001 to 2007 as creative director of the Windows User Experience team.
Lam is actively engaged in sharing her design ideas across the industry. She has served on the national board of directors for the American Institute of Graphic Arts and also mentors national and local organizations to foster the next generation of creative design talent headed for the tech industry. Lam chaired and was a judge for the Smithsonian Cooper-Hewitt Design Museum National Design Awards in 2018 and has been a speaker at numerous design events including the Design Conversations series at the Museum of Design Atlanta, Phoenix Design Week, and the AIGA Design Conference, among others.
Lam was named by the Puget Sound Business Journal as one of the Top 100 Most Influential Women in Technology and a 40 Under 40 Honoree of Seattle business leaders. She attended Valencia College, the University of Florida, and the Portfolio Center.
