Avaloq provides a software and services platform that wealth managers and private banks use to manage more than $5 trillion in assets across 35 countries. Prior to migrating to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including OCI Dedicated Region, the company hosted its solution on four separate platforms, including on-premises, outsourced, and third-party cloud environments. This fragmented operating model made it difficult for Avaloq to gain economies of scale and to adopt cloud automation technologies across its global operations. Oracle’s extensive network of distributed cloud regions enables the company to migrate to cloud and exit its largest data centers in Switzerland, Germany, and Singapore. With OCI Dedicated Region Avaloq established a globally standardized operating model that takes advantage of cloud automation, along with the highest levels of data security and sovereignty.
