What we really like about Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM is it’s one platform that’s fully integrated and gives us the data we need to drive our strategic HR decisions and be a stronger partner to the business.

With its disconnected HR systems and manual processes, it was difficult for BGIS to manage its fast-growing, highly distributed workforce. The Canada-based company, which provides facility management, real estate, and technical services worldwide, employs 12,000 people globally, including many technicians who start and finish their day in the field. BGIS turned to the Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM) application suite to replace six separate HR systems, centralize its HR data, and provide managers and staff with self-service tools for onboarding, performance management, learning, and recruitment. By standardizing on Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM, the company has lowered its software licensing costs, reduced voluntary turnover from 25% to 15% over two years, and avoided adding administrative headcount despite 20% workforce growth through acquisitions. BGIS also credits Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM with generating HR insights that help it compete more effectively for new contracts. The company plans to start using the suite’s compensation and benefits modules and embedded AI to speed up recruitment, performance reviews, and career development activities.
