Dogo gains stability and higher performance with migration to OCI

The software developer uses OCI and MySQL HeatWave to migrate and manage data with more agility and security, while also lowering costs for customers.

With OCI, image restoration from MySQL HeatWave of a midsize customer may take less than 20 minutes, something unthinkable in the previous scenario, which could take hours. Oracle Cloud offers more security with the implementation of backups and resource restoration.
Rafael Leandro dos SantosCTO, Dogo

Founded in 1991, Dogo aims to make business management simpler and more practical with its flagship enterprise resource planning software. To make its software delivery more stable and secure, Dogo wanted to migrate its services from on-premises infrastructure to a cloud environment with high availability, financial predictability, and ongoing support. After testing several cloud providers, Dogo determined that Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) was the only service that delivered the quality and performance expected within the company's product architecture. Dogo also chose MySQL HeatWave as a database management system. Together, OCI and MySQL HeatWave provided cost reductions with a decrease in product licenses and better security and stability for Dogo's customers. The company also saw a nearly 50% reduction in the time required to set up new customer environments on OCI.
