“Prior to implementing the Oracle Cloud HR applications, it was a nightmare—manual processes, email traffic, and lots of paperwork. Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM makes life easier for our HR teams because it's just one robust solution across the board.”
Harmony Australasia’s homegrown HR applications were outdated and unconnected, making it hard to manage people processes across the full employee lifecycle. Managers juggled paper forms, emails, and spreadsheets for basic HR tasks such as headcount reporting and new hire onboarding, and employees had no self-service HR tools. After evaluating multiple cloud-based HR applications, the mining company selected Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM), including its self-service and help desk tools, based on the suite’s intuitive user interface and embedded workflows across core HR, recruiting, learning, talent management, and compensation functions. With Oracle Cloud HCM, Harmony Australasia has greatly reduced manual HR work. For example, recruiting staff now need to fill out 80% fewer paper forms during the hiring process, freeing them to focus on finding the right people. “The technology is invisible but impactful,” says Venkat Vattikuti, Harmony Australasia’s HRIS specialist. “Oracle has demonstrated that they don’t just sell software. They have been very collaborative and supportive throughout our journey.
