Ibercaja Banco needed to launch a new consumer loans business line within a tight four-month timeline while dealing with manual finance processes and fragmented data across systems. The Spain-based bank provides a wide range of financial services to individuals, companies, and institutions, supporting both everyday banking and more complex financial needs. To meet its deadline and improve operations, Ibercaja Banco worked with Oracle to implement Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) on Oracle EU Sovereign Cloud. Using Oracle Fusion Accounting Hub and Oracle Fusion General Ledger, the bank consolidated data from multiple third-party systems into a single, consistent source of financial information. Automation replaced Excel-based processes, such as asset depreciation and budgeting, improving accuracy and reducing errors.
As a result, Ibercaja Banco reduced financial close preparation time by 60%, reduced errors to near zero, and gained faster access to reliable financial insights. The platform also strengthened compliance and reporting while providing a scalable foundation for future growth and new financial products.
