NAS Neuron Health Services works with insurers, reinsurers, and governments across the Persian Gulf region to handle healthcare claims on behalf of its 1.8 million members. As the volume of claims and members increased, the company struggled to swiftly respond to patients. By migrating its critical on-premises Oracle Database workloads to Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), NAS Neuron improved performance, availability, and reduced administrative costs. These improvements helped to automatically accommodate increasing claim volume and boost revenue growth. Oracle Cloud Lift Services provided technical guidance.

The cloud platform allows for faster, reliable healthcare services and increased customer satisfaction and loyalty. Additionally, OCI helped enhance data security and disaster recovery to protect sensitive medical information. It also aided in satisfying regulatory requirements by using multiple cloud regions and Oracle FastConnect high-fidelity networking between NAS Neuron facilities and OCI for a hybrid cloud.
