Some releases of Oracle products contain the Jakarta Mail library provided by Eclipse Foundation under terms of the Eclipse Public License. Per Legal requirements, Oracle must make the Jakarta Mail object code and source code publicly available under the Eclipse Public License on a website completely separate from any other Oracle website offering downloads of Oracle proprietary code at least 12 months from the date of distribution. No modifications have been made by Oracle to any of the Jakarta Mail code provided by Eclipse Foundation.
