Oracle Solaris Zone Template Containing an Oracle Solaris 10 1/13 Zone for deployment on Oracle Solaris 11

This Oracle VM Template for Oracle Solaris Zones is an Oracle Solaris 10 1/13 zone ready to download and install on an Oracle Solaris 11 instance.

The VM Template is provided as a simple way to provision an Oracle Solaris 10 zone without the need for an Oracle Solaris 10 system as the source for the zone. For example in the case of a test install or proof of concept.

This VM Template is not tested or intended for use to provision an Oracle Solaris 10 1/13 zone on an Oracle Solaris 10 1/13. It is far faster to create a zone directly on an Oracle Solaris 10 1/13 system.

This new version of the VM Template requires Oracle Solaris 11.4 SRU9 or later to function correctly.

Prior to downloading the VM:

• Ensure the system to which the Zone will be attached is running a Oracle Solaris 11.4 or later release.
