31224836 - SESSION TIMEOUT WARNING INCORRECTLY DISPLAYS IN THE BUILDER

The new session timeout warning displays prematurely, when logged into the development environment. This will manifest when a developer has stayed on the same page for close to the 'Maximum Idle Time' defined for the APEX instance, where the 'Your session is about to expire' and 'Your session has expired' alerts will display, even if the developer has been active on the page, and their session has not yet expired. Page Designer is probably the most likely page where people may hit this, (because developers probably spend the most time on that page working, without navigating away), although this could theoretically happen on other pages as well.
Solution: A PSE has been made available for this issue on MyOracleSupport. Navigate to Patches & Updates and search for patch number 30990551.
Note: this PSE also contains other bug fixes, please review the README in the patch for more details.

31217638 - PAGE DESIGNER 'GROUP BY' RENDERING PREFERENCE REMOVAL FROM CODE

With 20.1, Page Designer UI Improvements work for feature #2579 included the removal of the Rendering tab pill buttons 'Group by Processing Order' and 'Group by Component Type' have been removed. Those buttons have an associated preference, PD_GROUP_BY_COMPONENT_TYPE, which is set according to the chosen button option. When customers upgrade to 20.1, that preference setting will still exist, and customers will have no ability through the UI to reset/change the option.
Workaround: In Page Designer, open Developer Console of a browser, such as Google Chrome, and run this JavaScript:
pageDesigner.saveBoolPref( "GROUP_BY_COMPONENT_TYPE", true );
Refresh the page.

31105727 - UNABLE TO ADD COMPONENT VIEW TO PAGE DESIGNER IN FIREFOX

if you already have component view tab visible and then remove it using utilities (wrench icon) > Show > Component View uncheck, you can not make it visible again.
Workaround: Use a different browser, such as Chrome or Edge.
