Oracle-managed services that run on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
Oracle Container Engine for Kubernetes (OKE) is an open source-based container orchestration service. Customers can deploy Intel, AMD, and Arm-based Ampere virtual and bare metal worker nodes. The managed service supports auto scaling clusters and pods to reduce the time and cost to build modern cloud native applications.
OCI Container Registry is a Docker HTTP API v2-compliant registry for storing and sharing container images. It is tightly integrated with other OCI services such as Oracle Container Engine for Kubernetes and Oracle Identity and Access Management. OCI Container Registry complements two other services: OCI Artifact Registry for storing noncontainer images and OCI Compute for storing compute images.
Functions as a service (FaaS) lets developers create, run, and scale serverless applications without managing any infrastructure. The service is interoperable with core OCI services, including OCI Streaming, OCI Events and OCI API Gateway. Functions is secured by Oracle Identity and Access Management.
Streaming service is a real-time, serverless, Apache Kafka-compatible event streaming platform for developers and data scientists. Streaming is tightly integrated with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle Database, Oracle GoldenGate, and Oracle Integration and Migration. The service also provides out-of-the-box integrations for hundreds of third-party products across categories such as DevOps, databases, big data, and SaaS applications.
Events service tracks resource changes with events that are compliant with the CNCF CloudEvents standard. DevOps engineers can create rules to take action in real time by triggering Functions, writing to streams, or sending Notifications. The service provides APIs for integration with other Oracle IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS products.
Oracle API Management enables the complete API lifecycle for cloud native and SaaS applications, including Oracle Cloud HCM and Oracle Cloud ERP. It supports open standards, including OpenAPI specifications to allow for seamless integrations across Oracle and third-party applications.
With its Observability and Management Platform, Oracle provides visibility and machine learning-driven actionable insights to ease management across all layers of the stack deployed on any technology, anywhere. Oracle’s integrated functionality and automation for DevOps monitoring and IT operations management can make it 50% easier to prevent and solve IT problems. These services can improve IT efficiency, identify code level performance issues 10 times faster, and reduce IT complexity.
Oracle MySQL Database Service is a fully managed database service to quickly develop and deploy secure, cloud native applications. MySQL Database Service is the only MySQL cloud service with an integrated, high-performance, in-memory query accelerator—HeatWave—that enables customers to run sophisticated analytics directly against their operational MySQL databases, eliminating the need for complex, time-consuming, and expensive data movement and integration with a separate analytics database. This service is complemented by other database offerings on OCI, including Oracle Autonomous Database and Marketplace products.

COO, Archaeological Park of Pompeii
“Having a strong partnership with Oracle is very important, because we sometimes hit limits in our work that Oracle helps us to overcome.”
IT Department Head, CERN
“We moved our hosting to Oracle Cloud using managed Kubernetes and saved 40% of our hosting costs. We reinvested that cost savings into GPU shapes and have been able to deliver even more advanced computer vision technology to our customers.”
Founder and CEO, Snap Vision
“We decided to design and architect our new native SaaS app, CloudVane, on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure with Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing at its core from the get-go for fast time to market, low administration and costs, and high performance.”
“We're moving all of our disaster recovery and ancillary systems to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, which has enabled us to consolidate from four data centers down to two, with savings approaching one million dollars, annually.”
VP of Infrastructure, Beeline
These products enable hybrid cloud and multicloud architectures, in addition to cloud native application development.
Verrazzano is a general-purpose, open-source container platform used to deploy, secure, observe, and manage all your container workloads, including microservices and Oracle WebLogic Server-based traditional applications. Verrazzano supports Kubernetes clusters across multiple environments, running on-premises and in a variety of public clouds.
Built from a familiar collection of open-source components, such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Istio—coupled with additional open-source bespoke operators and controllers—Verrazzano seamlessly brings together the best open-source technologies.
Oracle Cloud Native Environment is a curated set of open source projects that are based on open standards, specifications, and APIs defined by the Open Container Initiative and CNCF. The environment has been tested for interoperability and is supported by Oracle. It delivers a simplified framework for installations, updates, upgrades and configuration of key features for orchestrating microservices. Oracle Linux customers can use these curated projects for free.
Use Oracle WebLogic Server for Container Engine for Kubernetes (OKE) to quickly create your Java Enterprise Edition (Java EE) application environment in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, including an Oracle WebLogic Server domain, in a fraction of the time it would normally take on-premises.
Oracle WebLogic Server for OKE is available as a set of applications in the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Marketplace. After launching one of these applications, you use a simple wizard interface to configure and provision your domains along with any supporting cloud resources like Kubernetes clusters, file systems, compute instances, networks and load balancers. Each server in the domain runs in a separate container in the Kubernetes cluster.
Helidon is a collection of Java libraries for writing microservices that run on a fast web core powered by Netty. The project includes Helidon CLI, which lets you easily create a Helidon project by picking from a set of archetypes.
GraalVM Enterprise is a high-performance runtime built on Oracle Java SE. It adds new compiler optimizations that deliver the best performance for running Java applications and microservices on premises or in the cloud. It provides a just-in-time (JIT) compiler that accelerates Java applications without code changes. GraalVM enhances the Java ecosystem by offering a compatible and better-performing Java Development Kit (JDK).
