Associate Professor Christopher Gordon is a teaching and research academic at Sydney Nursing School, Faculty of Medicine and Health, The University of Sydney. He is a Research Leader of insomnia and chronobiology research at Woolcock Institute of Medical Research. His research focuses on phenotyping, pathophysiology and treatment responses of insomnia. He is currently the national project leader of the insomnia program in the Alertness CRC and is leading the development of novel translational digital therapies. Tancy Kao is a Senior Research Data Scientist at Woolcock Institute of Medical Research. She has over 10 years of experience in cognitive neuroscience and uses machine learning and statistics to analyse neurophysiological signals. She also has an industry experience of building and productionising bespoke models to analyse and report in real-time the learning behaviour from click-by-click rich activity report data collected from K12 students’ computers during classrooms. She is responsible for analysing and building models of complex real-world sleep disorders. She applies machine learning and deep learning to biometric timeseries to predict sleep problems.
