    • When and where is Oracle CloudWorld taking place?

    • How can I get help with my Oracle account?

    • Do I qualify for the public sector registration rate?

      Oracle’s definition of public sector extends beyond (but includes) traditional government agencies and ministries. The definition also includes state-owned entities, such as those in which a government has 30% or more ownership, voting control, and/or the ability to appoint officers or directors. For example, some airlines, financial institutions, telecommunications companies, utilities, energy exploration companies, hospitals, and other businesses may qualify.

      Public sector employees are not eligible to use a complimentary pass, group pass, or pass provided or paid for by another.

    • Is there a group registration discount?

      Yes. The Group pass purchase program allows a group to prepay for multiple registrations at once. Discounts are applied when 10 or more passes are purchased. There are no discounts offered for nine or fewer passes. This offer is only payable by credit card. In addition, this offer is nonrefundable and cannot be combined with any other offers or discounts.       Public sector employees and Oracle employees are not eligible to use a complimentary pass, group pass, or pass provided by another party to register for Oracle CloudWorld. Passes distributed to public sector or Oracle employees will be revoked without refund.

    • What is Oracle doing to protect my health and safety in Las Vegas?

      Oracle cares about the health and safety of our customers, employees, and communities. We continue to monitor local COVID-19 protocols and mandates to ensure we can meet them in the safest way possible. Effective February 10, 2022, the State of Nevada has lifted mask mandates. Masks are still recommended for individuals who are not fully vaccinated and those with underlying health conditions. These protocols and mandates may change at any time. We will do our best to communicate any changes as they arise and appreciate your cooperation to ensure we can gather in a safe and compliant manner.

    • Can Oracle provide me with documents to secure a US visa to attend CloudWorld?

      Oracle employees: Oracle does not issue personalized US visa stamp application letters to employees for attending this event. Oracle also strictly prohibits employees from issuing letters or documents on behalf of others in the context of US visa and immigration matters. Refer to the information here for guidance.

      Customers, partners, contractors, and other non-employees: Oracle does not issue documents or letters in connection with US visa and immigration matters. Oracle employees are strictly prohibited from issuing such letters.

      If you require travel to attend the conference in Las Vegas, all reservations and expenses are your responsibility. Oracle employees, contractors, and partners are not authorized to facilitate or pay for any travel expenses for event registrants or attendees unless specifically pre-approved in writing under Oracle’s Non-Employee Travel process.

    • Can someone else use my existing registration?

      Yes, you can request a substitution by sending an email to the CloudWorld registration and housing team at OracleCloudWorld@regsvc.com with the names of both the original and substitute registrants. All requests for substitutions must be received no later than 6 p.m. PT on October 13, 2022, pending Oracle registration and housing team approval.

      You may not provide a pass to a public sector employee or an Oracle employee.

    • How do I cancel my registration?

      All cancellations must be received via email and sent to the Oracle registration and housing team at OracleCloudWorld@regsvc.com. Cancellation of travel and/or hotel reservations is the exclusive responsibility of the registrant. Note: The refund policy does not apply to packages where no registration fee has been paid. Once you pick up your badge credentials onsite, you are not eligible for a refund.

      • Oracle is offering full refunds on cancellations up until 6 p.m. PT on October 13, 2022.
      • No refunds will be given for any group passes purchased.
      • If attendees must cancel their CloudWorld registrations due to a denied visa application, they still need to adhere to the Cancellation Policy deadlines listed above.
      • Eligible refunds will be processed for the US dollar amount of the registration fee payment at the time of the original transaction and will not include any other fees incurred such as wire transfer, international taxes, etc. Oracle is not responsible for fluctuations in currency exchange rates between the transaction date and the refund date.

      Oracle reserves the right to refuse registration or admission to anyone for any reason. If Oracle cancels an attendee’s registration prior to the cancellation deadline, Oracle will provide a full refund of the registration fee. If Oracle revokes a registration due to abuse or misconduct, the registration fee is not eligible for refund. If Oracle rescinds your registration and refunds your payment, under no circumstances will Oracle be liable for any incidental damages, such as flight, hotel, or other related expenses.

    • How can I access my Oracle University training and certification?

      If you are eligible to receive the Oracle University digital training and certification offering, you will receive an email invitation to Oracle University after registering for CloudWorld. Oracle is offering access to Oracle University digital training, providing content covering all Oracle Cloud solutions, from the date of your registration until December 19, 2022. Access includes three free certification exam attempts.* Oracle Cloud Certification exams may be scheduled and taken through Oracle University from September 1 to December 19, 2022.

      *This offer is not available to those registered as speakers, media, social influencers, analysts, or Executive Summit attendees.

    • What payment methods are accepted for conference registration?

      Payment can be provided at the time of registration. Accepted payment methods include

      Oracle employees, suppliers, partners and third parties are not permitted to purchase passes for any public sector employee or Oracle employee. Passes paid for by others will be revoked without refund.

    • How can I get a copy of my receipt or settled invoice?

      When you register, a copy of your settled invoice will be attached to your registration confirmation email. If another copy is needed, you can reach out to the CloudWorld registration and housing team at the contact information below and another copy can be provided.

    • Where can I get visitor information about Las Vegas?

      For visitor information, please visit the official Visit Las Vegas website.

    • Will there be meals that accommodate my dietary needs?

      Oracle makes an effort to provide meals that accommodate a variety of dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten/dairy free. We will attempt to accommodate additional special requests, although we cannot guarantee the ability to fulfill every request. Special meals are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Quantities are limited, so your meal choice may not be available at some lunch locations. When you arrive at the lunch area, ask your server for a list of the available meal options.

    • Who should I contact if I require special assistance onsite?

      During the registration process, please let us know if you need onsite assistance such as wheelchair access or assistance for the hearing or sight impaired. Oracle will put you in touch with a third-party vendor to assist with your needs. If you have any questions, contact the CloudWorld registration and housing team at the contact information below.

      Please note: The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) became law in 1990. The ADA is a civil rights law that prohibits discrimination against individuals with disabilities in all areas of public life, including jobs, schools, transportation, and all public and private places that are open to the public. The purpose of the law is to make sure that people with disabilities have the same rights and opportunities as everyone else. In order to arrange these services, a registrant’s information will be provided to third parties.

    • Will I need to wear my badge at all times at Oracle CloudWorld?

      Yes, you need to wear your conference badge throughout the duration of the event. Credentials cannot be given to or shared with another attendee or the badge will be confiscated and the attendee will be asked to leave the event.

    • What happens if I lose my badge while onsite?

      If you lose your badge onsite, visit any of the registration desks at Caesars Forum or The Venetian for assistance. You may be subject to a US$75 fee to print a replacement badge. You must present a government-issued photo ID such as a passport or drivers license when requesting a replacement badge.

    • Who do I contact with registration questions or issues?

    • How do I book housing or make changes to my existing reservation?

      You can book housing or modify an existing registration in the housing section of My Event dashboard. Be sure to have your login credentials for your Oracle Account available. You must be a registered attendee of CloudWorld to book your stay via My Event dashboard. Please contact the CloudWorld registration and housing team below for any additional assistance.

    • What is the last date for securing a room at discounted conference rates?

      Discounted room rates will be offered based on hotel availability until September 12, 2022. After this date, room rates will be determined by the hotels.

    • What is the cancellation policy if I have to cancel my reservation or depart earlier than planned?

      Cancellations of an entire reservation must be made no less than 72 hours prior to your arrival date as stated in your confirmation email. Failure to do so will result in a penalty equal to one night’s room and tax. If you need to depart earlier than planned, update your hotel reservation with the CloudWorld registration and housing team before September 12, 2022. After this date some hotels may charge a penalty if nights are cancelled from your original booking. If you shorten your hotel stay after checking in, the hotel’s standard early departure fees may apply.

    • What happens if I don’t check in on my scheduled arrival date?

      If your arrival is delayed, contact the hotel directly to inform them. If you don’t arrive on your scheduled arrival date, the hotel may cancel the entire reservation and can opt not to reinstate the reservation, even if you arrive the next day, depending on hotel availability. You will also be charged the penalty of one night’s room and tax regardless of whether the hotel opts to reinstate your reservation.

    • Can I book a hotel room even if I’m not ready to register for Oracle CloudWorld?

      No. To take advantage of the discounted room rates that Oracle offers, an attendee must have an existing registration for CloudWorld.

    • Do I need to provide a credit card to book a room?

      Yes, you must enter a credit card during the reservation process to make any hotel reservations within the CloudWorld housing block.

    • Can I use the same credit card that I provided when booking the reservation as a guarantee of payment at check-in?

      Yes. However, if the credit card used as a guarantee for the hotel reservation is not in your name, the cardholder must be present at check-in or you must set up a faxed credit card authorization with the hotel prior to arrival.

    • Can I contact the hotel directly to change an existing reservation or book a new reservation at the CloudWorld discounted rates?

      Prior to September 12, 2022, all new reservations and reservation changes must be made through the CloudWorld registration and housing team via the contact information below to obtain CloudWorld discounted rates.

    • Will I receive a hotel confirmation number?

      Yes, all reservations made within the CloudWorld housing block will be confirmed via a separate hotel confirmation email. Your hotel and confirmation number will be sent two weeks prior to the event.

    • How can I find where my hotel is located?

      To find the location of your hotel, please visit the hotel map.

    • If I enter special requests on my hotel reservation, are they guaranteed?

      Although hotels do their best to accommodate all special requests, the fulfillment of these requests is not guaranteed.

    • Are there any other hotel guidelines I should know?
      • Guestrooms must have one registered guest who is at least 21 years of age.
      • Nightly room rates do not include any resort fees.
      • Most room rates are based on single occupancy. Hotels may charge more additional occupants. Inquire about charges when you make your reservation.
    • Who do I contact with housing questions or issues?
