First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), one of the largest banks in the Middle East and North Africa, provides financial services to retail, business, and institutional customers. After migrating legacy systems to the cloud and integrating Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM, FAB set out to infuse AI across its HR systems to drive end-to-end automation and make workflows more efficient. FAB partnered with Oracle to develop an AI-powered HR chatbot using Oracle Digital Assistant and Cohere AI models on dedicated AI clusters. Oracle Digital Assistant’s flexible sandbox environment helped facilitate rapid testing and development of the chatbot in just four months. The chatbot automates leave, salary, and other tasks, delivering clear, conversational HR information that has helped improve efficiency, reduce costs, and accelerate HR processes, contributing to a better work environment.
