Australia-based Nova Systems struggled to derive timely project management, finance, procurement, and HR insights from the data in its fragmented on-premises systems and tools. Founded in 1999 as Nova Aerospace, the global engineering and technology services company now has more than 1,500 employees and primarily serves the defense, aerospace, and government sectors. The company implemented Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM), consolidating all that data and reducing the company’s reliance on spreadsheets.
By adopting the Oracle Cloud Applications, supported by Oracle Fusion AI Data Platform, staff now can run reports faster and can view project performance on demand using personalized dashboards. Oracle Cloud ERP has also helped Nova Systems shorten its financial close process, and staff can focus on higher-value work instead of manual and repetitive tasks.
Nova Systems is exploring using Oracle AI agents for Fusion Applications to improve operational efficiency and support its growth. “AI is woven throughout the Oracle platform more and more,” says CIO Alison Tweedale. “The stats we’re seeing on the number of AI agents that are available and the capabilities coming through are really exciting.”
