The Day One and Beyond training program provides instructor-led education to Oracle customers at any stage of their cloud and applications journey. Whether you’re getting started with OCI and Oracle Cloud Applications or looking to deepen your expertise, the program delivers practical, role-based learning to help you maximize the value of Oracle solutions.

- Who’s the audience for the Day One and Beyond training program?
The Day One and Beyond training program is designed for professionals working with OCI and Oracle Cloud Applications, including developers, cloud architects, cloud engineers, application administrators, business users, line-of business professionals, and C-suite executives.
Tailored to meet the evolving demands of cloud technology and modern business applications, the program supports organizations across industries as they adopt, implement, and optimize Oracle solutions. - What are some sample trainings offered by the Day One and Beyond training team?
We offer standard QuickStart trainings for customers who are new to Oracle Cloud. The QuickStart series includes Oracle Cloud Technical QuickStart, Business Operations & Governance QuickStart, Security QuickStart, Cloud Operations QuickStart, Network Fundamentals QuickStart, Oracle Database Services QuickStart, and Migration to OCI QuickStart. We also offer customized training based on customer interests, including Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle Analytics, Oracle Applications (Fusion Cloud Applications), multicloud, high availability, disaster recovery, and other Oracle Cloud solutions.
Oracle Cloud Technical QuickStart covers the fundamentals of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including cloud concepts, OCI architecture, and core OCI services. Topics include identity and access management (IAM), networking, compute, storage, and databases. You’ll also learn about users, groups, and policies, as well as the core principles of virtual network design, helping establish a foundation for deploying applications on OCI. The session also covers key terms and definitions to prepare you for additional training sessions.
- What’s the format of the Day One and Beyond training sessions?
Our Day One and Beyond training sessions are designed to be interactive and engaging. Each session begins with an introduction of the topic, followed by a live demonstration. Throughout the session, we encourage participation and welcome questions, and there’s also time at the end dedicated for a focused Q&A. Some sessions also feature hands-on workshops, allowing participants to engage with LiveLabs exercises in the Oracle Cloud Console for real-world experience.
- How much lead time do we need to schedule a customer training?
After determining your training needs in our initial consultation, we’ll draft a training syllabus for you to review. Then we can align appropriate resources and content to make it as beneficial as possible for you and your team. This typically requires two to three weeks of lead time.
- Is there a cost for the Day One and Beyond training?
No. Day One and Beyond training is an investment we make in our customers to help them grow and develop their OCI skills at no extra cost to them. By joining Oracle Day One and Beyond, we’re investing not only in your organization’s capabilities but also in a lasting partnership with Oracle. We’re dedicated to helping you translate training into real, measurable results as you move forward in your cloud journey.
- Do you support onsite training?
We prioritize virtual training sessions as they allow customers to get up to speed more quickly. However, we can discuss onsite training with you during the initial consultation and will consider it on a case-by-case basis.
- Is the Day One and Beyond training offered in all regions?
Currently, the Day One and Beyond 1:1 training is offered only in North America. However, our Day One and Beyond 1:Many webinars are available in all regions.
