Monitored JVM Operating Systems

- Java SE 7 Update 4 and above can be monitored by Java Mission Control 5.1.
- Java SE 7 Update 3 and below provide limited monitored functionality only.
- Prior versions of Java SE, 1.4.2, 5.0 and 6, cannot be monitored by Java Mission Control 5.1
- On the Mac OS X platform, JVM monitoring support is introduced in Java SE 7 Update 6. However, Java Flight Recorder (JFR) events cannot be monitored as it is not supported on Mac OS X.
