The last 12 months have marked a decisive turning point for finance, a shift into an AI-powered era that is redefining what the finance function can be. This isn’t simply an upgrade in technology; it’s a fundamental reinvention of how finance teams operate, deliver insights, and drive business impact.
Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) sits at the forefront of this transformation by pioneering the next chapter of agentic finance. Organizations across every industry are accelerating their adoption of our embedded and agentic AI capabilities, and leading analysts continue to recognize Oracle Cloud ERP for our innovation, momentum, and market leadership.
Reflecting on the past year, it’s clear that the progress across Oracle Cloud ERP is shaping the future of finance.
We announced new AI agents within Oracle Cloud ERP that help finance leaders accelerate business insights and boost efficiency. Running on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle AI agents are prebuilt with advanced security and natively integrated within Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications at no additional cost. Some of these new finance agents include a payables agent to automate multi‑channel invoice processing, reduce manual effort and strengthen compliance; a planning agent to provide real‑time trend and variance analysis via natural‑language interactions and improve forecast accuracy; and a payments agent to help optimize cash outflows and expand payment choices.
This past year, we also announced the Oracle AI Agent Studio for Fusion Applications, a comprehensive platform for creating, extending, deploying, and managing AI agents and agent teams across the enterprise. New updates throughout the year include extended LLM support, agent-building resources, and a vast network of Oracle-certified AI agent experts.
We also want to give customers the power of choice and the ability to reduce time to value, which is why we announced the Oracle Fusion Applications AI Agent Marketplace, a new solution that enables Oracle Fusion Applications customers to easily find and deploy validated, partner-built AI agents directly within their enterprise environment. By connecting customers with Oracle’s network of trusted partners and their industry expertise, the marketplace makes it simple to access innovative AI agents within a highly secure, enterprise-ready environment.
This year, Oracle was once again named a Leader in four Gartner reports assessing finance capabilities: the Gartner® Magic Quadrant for Cloud ERP for Service-Centric Enterprises, Gartner® Magic Quadrant for Cloud ERP for Product-Centric Enterprises, Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Financial Planning Software, and Gartner® Magic Quadrant for Financial Close and Consolidation Solutions.
In each of these reports, Oracle was recognized as a Leader for its “Ability to Execute” and “Completeness of Vision” for Oracle Cloud ERP, which we believe reinforces our relentless commitment to innovation and reaffirms that agentic finance starts with Oracle.
Beyond Gartner, numerous analysts and industry authorities have also recognized Oracle Cloud ERP for its distinctive advantages in AI.
“Oracle surpassed SAP as the No. 1 ERP applications vendor for the first time, unseating the business software pioneer that has dominated the Enterprise Resource Planning landscape since the early 1980s,” said Albert Pang of Apps Run the World.
“All of the applications run on that singular database infrastructure. It makes it so much easier for the applications and AI to be unified on a single database as opposed to integration between the different suites,” said Bonnie Tinder of Raven Intelligence.
“It’s not just the breadth and depth of the application portfolio—which is significant and impressive—it’s the realization of how much of a flywheel, if you will, they’re sitting on,” said Brian Sommer, president of the research firm TechVentive.
This past year, over 11,000 Oracle Cloud ERP customers across all sectors have shared their successes and innovative approaches to solving key business challenges using our solutions.
For example, PwC, a multinational professional services network, is leveraging our embedded generative and agentic AI capabilities to strengthen financial controls, align planning, and streamline reporting.
“By standardizing our finance operations on Oracle Cloud ERP and deploying new embedded generative and agentic AI capabilities, we’re able to simplify reporting, strengthen financial controls, and gain faster insights across our network. Delivering our own transformation also adds to the experience that we can bring to clients who are looking to modernize their finance functions,” said Neil Wilson, PwC Partner jointly leading ERP internal deployments.
Choctaw Nation, the third-largest Indian Nation in the US, is leveraging embedded AI capabilities in Oracle Fusion Applications to support its mission to foster growth and prosperity for its members.
“We’ve already adopted over 40 generative AI capabilities and look forward to leveraging more of Oracle’s AI agents and the AI Agent Studio to better support our people and improve operational efficiency as we continue to expand,” said Emily Crow, IT director of enterprise services, Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma.
This past year saw growing momentum across our Oracle B2B partner ecosystem as we announced new collaborations and expanded partnerships to enhance the value of Oracle Cloud ERP and enable organizations faster access to working capital.
We partnered with J.P. Morgan Payments to launch a supply chain finance (SCF) solution integrated directly into Oracle Cloud ERP, allowing companies to manage working capital directly within the same system as they use for payables, receivables, and supplier management. This solution received the Working Capital Innovation Award for helping to reduce the time it takes to implement a supply chain finance (SCF) program by up to six months.
Brex became the first fintech issuer to be embedded within Oracle Cloud ERP. Leveraging Oracle’s integration with Mastercard, Brex enables customers to select Brex virtual cards directly from within payables workflows to streamline supplier payments.
At Oracle, we’re energized to help shape this new age of agentic finance. By uniting our applications with advanced AI, we’re empowering customers to act faster, operate more precisely, and unlock opportunities that simply weren’t possible before.
To every customer who has chosen Oracle Cloud ERP, thank you for advancing this journey with us this year and championing the future of AI-powered finance.
