Oracle AI Database@AWS Now Available in Spain
Madrid, Spain—Jun 22, 2026

Oracle and Amazon Web Services (AWS) are now offering Oracle AI Database@AWS to customers in Spain. With the offering’s debut in the AWS Europe (Spain) Region, customers can now run Oracle Exadata Database Service, Oracle Autonomous AI Database, and Oracle Autonomous AI Lakehouse on dedicated infrastructure on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) within AWS.
Customers can quickly and easily migrate their on-premises Oracle AI Database and Oracle Exadata workloads to Oracle AI Database@AWS with minimal changes, offering full feature availability, architectural compatibility, and performance on par with on-premises. In addition, Oracle AI Database@AWS delivers zero-ETL (extract, transform, and load) integrations that unify data across Oracle and AWS for advanced analytics, machine learning, and generative AI services, such as Amazon Bedrock. By integrating the powerful capabilities of Oracle AI Database with data and leading services from AWS, customers can easily build new AI-enabled applications or enhance existing ones.
“The availability of Oracle AI Database@AWS in the AWS Region in Spain reflects rising demand from public and private sector organizations to modernize mission-critical workloads and accelerate AI innovation,” said Sergio Sáez, country manager, Spain, Oracle. “Customers can now migrate their on-premises Oracle Exadata workloads to Oracle Exadata Database Service or Autonomous AI Database on dedicated Exadata infrastructure within AWS. This enables customers to combine Oracle AI Database’s in-database AI capabilities with AWS analytics services to realize greater value from their data.”
“Bringing Oracle AI Database@AWS to the AWS Region in Spain represents a significant milestone for organizations across the Iberian Peninsula looking to modernize their infrastructure without disrupting their operations,” said Suzana Curic, country leader, Spain and Portugal, AWS. “Organizations in Spain can now seamlessly migrate their on-premises Oracle Exadata workloads to Oracle Exadata Database Service or Autonomous AI Database on dedicated Exadata infrastructure within our data centers in Aragon. This enables customers to keep their data close to home while tapping into the full breadth of AWS’s analytics and AI capabilities. This will empower local enterprises to innovate faster, compete more effectively, and build the next generation of intelligent applications right here in Spain.”
