Note: Required disk space will vary based on Operating System packages selected, desktop or server use, desired swap and temporary space, localizations/translations, online documentation and applications installed.

Solaris requires at least 256 MB of memory for a normal installation. However, for PXE booting, 512 MB is the recommended amount.
A minimum of 2 GB of available space on your hard drive is recommended.
