Solutions

Oracle Product and Services

  • Worked with Oracle Partner AMX International to upgrade to Oracle’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.0, as well as implement the embedded Business Intelligence Publisher in just seven months, on time and under budget
  • Provided easy access for 2,000 regular and seasonal employees to human resources and payroll forms and processes, including a wide range of administrative tasks, from timecard entry, to benefits enrollment, or viewing leave balances
  • Enabled employees to print their own paystubs, increasing business efficiency and employee satisfaction
  • Took advantage of new functionality available in release 9.0 to eliminate one-fourth of the customizations in the previous version, which will ultimately lower total cost of ownership and make continued support easier—allowing the City to optimize the use of taxpayer funds for other initiatives
  • Leveraged the embedded Business Intelligence Publisher to create, manage, and deliver all types of highly formatted documents, such as paystubs, invoices, and timesheets—saving the city money—and vital taxpayer funds by eliminating a third-party product
  • Used Oracle User Productivity Kit to develop “what’s new” lessons, so employees can learn features and functionality in newly implemented solutions
