Solutia decided to upgrade to Oracle’s PeopleSoft Human Capital Management Foundation 9.1 to take advantage of new functionality, including improved data security, and to ensure continued support. With the upgrade, Solutia removed customization from three major processes and was able to benefit from expanded functionality, which included online security, department tree functionality, and other custom security components. Upgrading to PeopleSoft Payroll for North America 9.1 also ensures that Solutia will stay in sync with new tax regulations
