Werner Turck GmbH & Co. KG (Turck) is a leader in industrial manufacturing automation products. With more than 15,000 high technology products—including sensors, fieldbus, connectors, interfaces, and radio-frequency identification (RFID)—Turck offers global production and process automation solutions for the industrial manufacturing industry.

Turck was founded in Germany and was an early adopter in globalization, starting Turck Inc. in the United States in 1975, with the goal of offering technology solutions and services to industrial manufacturing companies across the globe. It currently has production sites in Germany, Switzerland, the United States, Mexico, and China, to meet local market demand and requirements.

Turck required greater control at a global level of not only the production of high technology products, but the research and development process as well. Turck maintains development operations at a number of international sites to ensure local market needs are met with solutions that address emerging trends.

Turck implemented Oracle’s Agile Engineering Data Management to unify, streamline, and standardize quality control processes for all products developed and produced by the company.
