About a year ago, we made an exciting announcement around a new industry-first set of integrations between Oracle and LinkedIn. This was a big deal for us, bringing two power players together to deliver a unified talent marketplace for our customers.
How has it been going, you ask? I’m happy to report that it’s been going very well. Two of our key integrations, which are designed to help organizations find the best talent available while improving the employee experience and increasing productivity, are now available for customers to use.
Over the last year, as we’ve discovered through numerous conversations with customers, the importance of internal mobility has significantly increased for many organizations as the job market and competition for talent has heated up. Our customers are realizing the best candidates for open positions are often found within their own organization. It’s one thing knowing this and another being able to overcome the HR and employee challenges that prevent organizations from acting upon it. HR professionals often don’t have a complete view into their entire workforce, their various skillsets and who might be available to consider. As for employees, they often face the challenge of building their internal brand, which can hinder their ability to be found for internal opportunities. This often leads them to looking outside of the organization.
With our new LinkedIn Profile Import capability, employees and HR professionals will have an easier time navigating these challenges. This integration allows users to import key elements of their LinkedIn profiles into their Oracle HCM Cloud Talent Profile, helping employees showcase their portfolio of skills, and helping organizations have a more complete view of their overall talent pipeline.
The second integration, Recruiter System Connect (RSC) for Taleo Enterprise Edition, provides a seamless and efficient recruiter experience by sharing and surfacing transactional recruiting data across both Taleo Enterprise and LinkedIn Recruiter. RSC for Oracle Recruiting Cloud, the native recruiting solution within Oracle HCM Cloud, is expected to become available to customers in early 2020. This is a key strategic enhancement for our customers as it helps them find the best talent for open positions.
Going into this strategic agreement with LinkedIn, we knew it was going to provide immense value for our joint customers. We’re excited to see the progress we’ve made in just the first year, and are looking forward to sharing more updates with you as the additional integrations become available in the near future.
