Why Are We Building This?
Analytics don’t live in isolation. They fuel every insight, personalize millions of interactions, and power business processes throughout the organization. Being able to take action—in context—directly from your analysis enables you to streamline the insight-to-action continuum.
Most analytics systems limit insights to facts. Sharing them and taking action is up to you. With the action framework, you’ll be able to specify a number of actions that can be performed, simply by right-clicking. Select a row in the answer set or a dot on a scatterplot and link to an action. If a customer is identified as at risk of leaving, you can right-click and begin an activity, such as alert the sales manager, issue a service ticket, and/or call the customer directly.
Actions will be enabled directly from Oracle Analytics to any process you choose. These connections to supporting business systems tighten the bond that connects insight discovery to taking action.
