Transurban, an Australia-based global toll road operator, manages more than 10.8 million customers across 22 toll roads throughout Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane, the Greater Washington area in the United States, and Montreal, Canada. As a longtime Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing customer, Transurban wanted to shed legacy billing practices, improve performance, and support growth by moving to the newest version of the application. After adopting the newest software, the company reduced maintenance costs, improved the user experience, strengthened operations, and positioned itself for future expansion.
